How to set up Passpack

I need access to various accounts so I can help you more efficiently.

I prefer to use an encrypted form of password sharing rather than ask for your details via email.

What I love about Passpack is that it not only helps me, but it is incredibly useful for you.

You can store all your passwords there, not just your business ones. You can decide when I get access to your password and when I don’t. You are fully in control of password sharing and you can revoke it at any time.

Oh and did I mention they have a free tier which is perfect when you are just starting out. The main limitation is you can only share with one person.

The video at the bottom of this post shows you how to add and share a password.

How to set up Passpack

1. Open a free account with Passpack.

You will need to click on an email confirmation link before you can access the account.

2. Add your passwords

From the passwords tab (along the top) click on the ‘+New Password’ button. Add the details for the account and password. If you are typing a URL, please add the https:// part or you will get an error when you save.

3. Add WeiderWeb as a connection

Click the ‘Connections’ tab at the top of your screen.

Click on ‘+New Connection’.

Type ‘WeiderWeb’ in the search box.

Click on ‘Connect’ when WeiderWeb appears in the box below the search field.

A request will be sent to me that I will accept. Once accepted you can share your passwords with me.

4. Share your password with me.

Click on the password entry from your passwords list.

A pop up window will open. Click on the ‘Sharing’ button (at the top of the pop up window).

Click on manage sharing.

WeiderWeb should appear as a connection.

Tick the box next to WeiderWeb and click on ‘Save’.

That’s all there is to it.
